Caroline Levenson

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER, FOUNDER

As principal interior designer and founder of Caroline Levenson Design, Caroline began her career as an Industrial Engineer after studying at Georgia Tech. While transforming and restoring her first home, she discovered her passion for reviving historic homes through thoughtful interior design.

Caroline’s design approach is heavily inspired by her childhood. As a South Carolina native, she was raised accompanying her father on construction sites and navigating and exploring the historic streets of Charleston where her love for building, historic homes, natural materials and perfectly patinaed pieces began.

She finds inspiration in a home’s original architecture, the materials within the space, and the potential of beauty beyond disrepair. She pays homage to history with her attention to detail and continues to celebrate the home’s existing bones by frequently visiting non-traditional places for the unique, period-appropriate pieces she envisions for a space. Her studio practice is defined by staying true to the integrity of a home by creating curated interiors for timeless living.

Lacy Apperson

PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR

Lacy is a recent transplant from Austin, Texas, where she managed a boutique fabric and wallpaper showroom. While there she worked with interior designers all over the US, honing her knowledge of fabric and wallpaper and her appreciation for pattern and color.

Moving around the US growing up Lacy was exposed to many architecture styles -- the Georgian and Neoclassical homes of the South, her family's California ranch, and the Craftsman bungalows and four squares of Memphis. Most of all, Lacy loves the beauty and quality of old homes and the challenge of breathing new life into these historic spaces. As the saying goes, the devil is in the details, but this is also where the magic happens -- adding classical hardware and fixtures, architectural elements like millwork, and textiles and wallpapers that feel like they've always been there.

RAVEN ULMER

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

A graduate from the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture and Design, Raven specializes in Interior Architecture. Her understanding and appreciation for original architecture inspires and fuels her passion for historic homes and good bones. As a child to a single mother, Raven’s love for the built environment sparked during her time on job sites accompanying her mother. Her favorite memories were admiring her mother's ability to sketch on paper napkins whenever she felt compelled.

Raven feels a true connection with the design of historic and older homes, hand sketches, textiles, natural light, antiques, greenery, and lived in collections that reflect a person's experiences and life.
